currently live in the Bronx, New York.
I’ve started the cyanotype process in 2020 and was immediately fascinated by this deep blue. I have been challenging myself to do different styles and also trying to create unique handmade pieces.
The concept of my artwork is the sense of respect, dialogue with nature.
What’s cyanotype?
Cyan refers to a slightly greenish blue color and is derived from the ancient Greek word cyanoa, meaning dark blue.
Cyanotype is a classic technique that uses a chemical reaction between iron salts and UV light to project images in shades of blue.
The advantages of cyanotype include simple processes to obtain images, long shelf life,
eco friendly and safety.
